After Special Rigging and Installation Instruction, 澳门足彩app Team Makes Short Work of Complex Tank Placement

澳门足彩app recently completed a complex tank installation at a confidential job site in Lake Mary, Florida. The goal was to set six process tanks, each weighing more than 20 tons, in three days.

Led by Project Superintendent Mike Wiederkehr and Assistant Superintendent Joe Kaiser, the team prepared for this high-risk event by conducting skill-based training on piping installation and rebar installation. This supplemented knowledge-based training from the Technical Training group in the Construction Core through QR Code delivery of video courses. Additionally, team members completed rigging training, provided on the jobsite by a certified rigging vendor that prepared them for the specific tank installation process. 

Using this training, the team rigged each tank with two separate cranes, one at the top and the other at the base, to upright the tanks. These rigged tanks were flown into position and set. Each set took about 45 minutes.

The team planned to set an average of two tanks per day but was able to safely and securely set four tanks on Day 1. They set one tank on each of the next two days and would have finished ahead of schedule had there not been a delivery delay.

There were no incidents during the operation, and no rework involved in this process with any of the six tanks.
